The Council of Churches is a forum where members represent each of the churches from all the local denominations.
This forum meets regularly and provides opportunities to share ideas and expressions of faith along with events either arranged by the council or by individual churches represented.
The following denominations are represented within the council –
Church of Scotland – Airdrie High; Calderbank; Chapelhall; Clarkston; Cairnlea; Jackson; New Monkland & Greengairs; The New Wellwynd and St. Columba’s
Congregational Church – Coatdyke
Roman Catholic – St. Andrew’s; St. Edward’s; St. Margaret’s and St. Serf’s
Salvation Army – Airdrie Citadel
Scottish Episcopal – St. Paul’s & St. John the Evangelist
United Reformed – Park
